The festive lap quilt design features a celebration of the favorite Christmas song 12 Days of Christmas with a collection of cross-stitch motifs representing each of the days, from a partridge in a pear tree all the way up to 12 drummers drumming. Stitched in classic holiday hues, the festive design makes a showpiece for your Christmas décor. Lap quilt top is stamped for cross-stitch on white cotton/polyester fabric. Kit includes cotton floss, needle, and instructions. Backing fabric, quilt batting, binding, and quilting thread are not included. 34 x 43" (86 x 109cm). The Herrschners Story
Herrschners was founded in 1899 by a young entrepreneur named Frederick Herrschner. It was common to see street vendors plying their wares from pushcarts on the streets of Chicago, including Frederick who sold sewing notions from his pushcart to many satisfied customers. They knew he sold quality items and came to depend on him.
Over the years, Frederick launched his company and developed a catalog to sell his merchandise to those who had no other outlet for the quality goods he provided. The comapany remained in Chicago until 1970 when the business was relocated to central Wisconsin where it continues operation to this day.
